Return

If you purchased a product from our store which is unused and no longer need it, then you can return to us as per below policy

  • Products that have not been opened/programmed/plugged in/otherwise not used can be returned for a refund
  • All return shipments must include an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number. (return sent without an RMA number will not be processed)
  • Products must be returned with all the accompanying original accessories
  • Returns may take up to 2 weeks to process, not including transit times.
  • The products will only be reshipped to the shipping address of the order
  • Customer will have to bear the shipment charges
  • Shipping and Handling charges will not be refunded for any reason
  • If we find the retuned product is not in re-sellable condition we may refuse the to take the product back
  • Restocking fee of 20% of the product value will be deducted
  • Customer has to bear the return shipping

Refund will be governed as per below table

Ineligible for return

  • Damages due to misuse of product or incidental damage due to malfunctioning of product.
  • Visible wear or tear on the product
  • Missing: accessories, manuals, anything that came with the product packing
  • Without RMA (Return Material Authorization) number
  • Burn or Physical damage to product, electronics components, parts, etc.
  • Products that are modified, re-soldered, etc.
  • If you paid by credit/debit card, and the issuing bank has initiated a charge-back, then you are not eligible for return/refund.
  • If you made any new order using your Loyalty Points or Discount Coupons.
  • You broke/open the original package

Any consumable item which has been used or installed. Items that are returned without original packaging, labels, freebies or accessories. Any damage/defect which are not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Made-to-order/Customised Products.

Return procedure

  • Step 1: Send a e-mail to support team with order number, and reason for return
  • Step 2: DIYIndia team will give you a RMA (Return Material Authorization) number, Return Form and Return address
  • Step 3: Pack and ship the product to Return address (Mention your RMA number and Order ID in the address label)
  • Step 4: Send courier tracking number to DIYIndia Support team
  • Step 5: Once the return product is received, DIY India Team will verify the products and process them as per return policy

Warranty

Warranty are only against manufacturing defect and transit damage

  • Customer need to contact support team within 10 working days from the date of delivery for being eligible for the return
  • Eligibility of manufacturing defect is subject to verification of product by Us
  • DIYIndia can not guarantee their eligibility unless it is proven that the issue is related to a manufacturing defect
  • DIYIndia reserve the rights refuse to replace in case if the product damaged by user error
  • In case product is defective or damaged then the DIYIndia team will replace and reship the product
  • In case the returned product is not defective/damaged then the customer will be informed about the same and the same product will be reshipped
  • In the event of no replacement possible or out of stock, refund or store credit will be done
  • Customer has to bear the return shipping
  • Products under warranty cannot be exchanged for other products

Warranty claiming procedure

  • Step 1: Send a e-mail to support team with order number, and reason for return
  • Step 2: DIYIndia team will send you the Return Form and Return address
  • Step 3: Pack and ship the product, Use the Return for during shipment
  • Step 4: Send courier tracking number to DIYIndia Support team
  • Step 5: Once the shipment is received, DIYIndia Team will verify the products and process them as per warranty policy

Cancellation

How and when a order can be cancelled

  • The buyer must place a request for the cancellation of order via mail only
  • Orders can only be cancelled if the order is not yet dispatched
  • After the confirmation of order, due to some reason (unexpected lack of inventory or any other reason) if DIY-India.com is not able to ship the product, the order will be cancelled and the amount will be refunded.
